Launched in 2012 by the United States Library of Congress, the International Summit of the Book is an annual global meeting of minds to discuss and promote the book as a crucial format for conveying societies’ scholarship and culture.
The 8th International Summit of the Book 2019 is organised by Beirut Arab University (BAU), Lebanon and continues this series of events focused on all aspects of books and their contribution to society.
