There are only 2 days to go before the most international library conference in the world! IFLA WLIC 2018 promises to be a truly spectacular experience for library professionals worldwide.

Each and every IFLA World Library and Information Congress (WLIC) is both a great way to build knowledge and collections, and an exciting cultural experience. This year will be no exception for the 3000+ delegates.

There will be over 500 speakers including keynote speaker Tan Sri Ali bin Hamsa, Chief Secretary to the Malaysian Government, engaged in over 230 sessions covering every aspect of library work. There are also almost 250 Papers and Poster presentations and over 70 exhibitors, together making IFLA WLIC the unmissable international library event of the year.

Beyond the wide-reaching professional programme, the chance to meet and learn about different cultures is what makes IFLA WLIC so unique. The Malaysian National Committee has put together an exciting programme of activities for delegates to experience and enjoy.

As well as Malaysian massage and basket weaving, there will be the ever-popular Cultural evening – a unique opportunity for the host country to showcase their culture – and cuisine!- to the rest of the world.

So join us for a week of ideas, inspiration, and incomparable experiences!
