The ICOMOS Symposium, Reducing Risks to Cultural Heritage from Natural and Human-Caused Disasters, aims to assess risks and formulate policies, strategies and techniques for reducing risks to disasters, responding to emergencies and recovering from disasters. During the one-day symposium, position papers and case studies will be presented on the following themes:
