The IFLA World Library and Information Congress is meeting in Columbus, Ohio this summer. The Education and Training (SET) and Library Theory and Research Section (LTR) Satellite Section Meeting, International Quality Assessment of LIS Education Programs, will be held in Dublin, Ohio, at 9am on Wednesday, August 10.

The goal of this event is to explore the feasibility of establishing an international means of assessing the quality of Higher Education educational programs for initial and continuing professional development of library and other information professionals.
