DA2I Toolkit cover: How to use the Development and Access to Information 2019 ReportThe 2019 Development and Access to Information (DA2I) Report, launched in May 2019, is intended as a tool to help libraries globally in their advocacy around the SDGs.

It shows how effectively countries and regions are meeting their commitment to access to information under the United Nations (UN) 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals, as well as providing evidence and insights into the role that libraries can plan in addressing key challenges.

For IFLA, it has proved to be a great way of explaining the value of what libraries do in our engagement at the UN, and we hope it can be useful elsewhere!

We are keen to work with our members to ensure that the DA2I Report has as high an impact as possible, and so have created a toolkit on how to use it. This offers both a summary of the document, and a set of suggested actions that library associations, libraries and individuals can take.

We of course also welcome any further ideas you have, and reports on how you have used the DA2I Report in your own work!
