33rd International Publishers Congress
28 – 30 May 2020
IFLA will be represented by Secretary General Gerald Leitner
The biennial International Publishers Conference, organised by the International Publishers Association, brings together people involved in the book chain from around the world to discuss the key issues of the day.
This year's edition will focus in particular on how to promote reading at a time of concern about people spending less time with books, and will include debate about how to address this in partnership with other key stakeholders.
IFLA's Secretary General will attend and play a prominent role, underlining the work of libraries to acheive progress, and the need to work together constructively to go further.
