The third in a series of conversations about the interaction between artificial intelligence (AI) and intellectual property (IP) will focus on questions around definitions, capacity building, and use of AI in IP administration.

Building on the issues paper prepared by the World Intellectual Property Organization, this will be an opportunity to hear from governments, experts and stakeholders, with IFLA speaking in favour of libraries.

IFLA’s intervention will focus on the limitations of AI in copyright enforcement, given its inability to identify when limitations and exceptions may be in play.
